Cotton Candy Machine...doesn't everyone have one?
6-27-2014.
For their birthday, the boys received a cotton candy machine. It is really neat. All you need is 2 pieces of hard candy and it turns them into cotton candy. The boys think it is great, and it gave them a lesson in sharing. Now I have something to do with all of that parade candy!

Big Boy Bike Time.
6-27-2014.
Jack and Ty work on their bike riding skills. The weather this day was hit and miss. It would be hot and cloudy and then start pouring out of the blue and then clear up again. During one of the down pours mom and the boys take refuge in the fort of the playground.
Mac Battles Hand - Foot - Mouth.
6-27-2014.
So it took about a week after exposure, and Mac started showing signs of hand - foot- mouth. He was mostly really irritable. He had a little temp. for about 24 hours, runny nose, and was really tired. He would be happy and fine one minute and the next he just couldn't handle it or himself and he would just break down. So he took naps, lots of naps, he would only be awake about an hour and then he would go back to sleep. One picture was him passed out on the Love Sak Pillow. I was reading Jack and Ty their nap time story and Mac was playing on his own in the downstairs living room as usual. After I laid the boys down I walked out to the living room to see him fast asleep...none of our boys has ever really fell asleep on their own in random places. After about a week he started to feel better and he started to be his old self again.
Hot Fun in the Summer.
6-25-2014.
The boys have a blast in the backyard inflatable pool. Mom even likes to get in on the action sometimes. At the end the boys saw and heard an airplane pass above... wwwoooowwww. The boys love everything "boy" right now. Airplanes, cars, boats, motorcycles, trains...anything with an engine I guess.

Bam Bam Baseball.
7-29-2014.
This was Jack's 1st year doing Bam Bam baseball. He really got excited for it, even though it bored him a bit. We had games every Tuesday and Thursday for the month of July, and then half of August for make-up dates due to heat and rain. Ty wasn't old enough to play, but I think he would have done just fine and no one would have been the wiser. Ty did get to play the last game because the opposing team did not show and the team played itself.
Note: If you have noticed I have been working hard trying to get the blog caught up to current time and events. With doing this I have noticed that our efforts to move all pictures to a sort of "cloud" have caused me to misplace a small chunk of special memories and events. For instance: Jack's first game of baseball, his first time at bat, a slew of pictures we took at Ledge State Park for Ty's birthday fun...if I ever come across some of them I will add them in.
