Car Crazy.
Sometimes it's difficult to keep Mac occupied at Grandma Ruby's without his favorite baby apparatuses (walker & jumper), but Neil found just the thing. While it was a Christmas gift for Ty, Mac went nuts for this remote control car just the same.
Christmas @ The Rezac's in South Dakota.
12-21-2013. I got the best present this year, baby Mac. I am so thankful for my wonderful family. We all gathered in Sioux Falls, SD to celebrate Christmas the weekend before the big day. We narrowly missed some bad weather in Des Moines and had a good long drive back and forth. It was a short 2 day visit but we managed to get in lots of family fun time.
Cousin Abbi visits Santa.
Joni and cousin Abbi had a girls day in Sioux Falls. We went shopping, ate pizza, visited with Santa and got a Christmas present for Uncle Matt.

Jack & Santa.
I love how every year we have visited this Santa and every year he gets down on the floor and reads The Night Before Christmas to Jack. Jack loves it!Mac's 1st visit waith Santa.
12-18-2013. Mac was fine, as long as the picture lady didn't ring the jingle bells.
Mac's Eating Food.
12-16-2013. This was Mac's second day trying to eat Quinoa baby cereal. He does remarkably well, considering this is something so new for him. Did you know that rice baby cereal is about the worst thing you can give a baby learning to eat? It has no nutritional value, it is hard for them to digest and it instills a need for high sugar/carb foods. Theorists have linked it's use to possibly a first step to childhood obesity. Boys in the snow.
We finally got enough snow to play in, but it also came with cold temperatures that about no one wants to go outside in. But not my boys, they want to play outside no matter what! They might not last long, but I think they thrive on fresh outside air. Now for some hot Apple Cider.
