Jester Park Bison.

Once or twice a week I jog the trails at Jester Park with Jack. He loves it because he gets to play at the park at the end.

This was after a really bad teething day. He was miserable with snot and droll constantly coming out of his nose and mouth. It looks like there are 4 teeth trying to poke through on the top. Poor guy!

For Jack's 1st birthday, we got him his 1st bike helmet. No, he won't be able to ride a bike yet, but now he will be able to go along in the bike trailer.

This last weekend we made a trip to Jack's godfather's house in Okoboji. Jay was a wonderful host and has proved he will be an amazing father. (Jack did not catch any fish.)

Yes, we finally got a boat! We took it out on Saylorville Lake for the 1st time today. Jack had a blast! Neil and I enjoyed eating lunch on the boat...that was until a small rain storm came by. I predict a fun summer is ahead of us.

Neil installed a new screen door the other weekend, so now Jack spends most of his mornings play at and looking out of the door.

This weekend we bought a tent, so we can go camping this summer. We even set up the tent for practice in the living room...but Jack was still more interested in the box that it came in.

Scott & Rose,our neighbors, have a little boy that is just a few months younger than Jack. We have a great trade agreement so we both can have date nights.

Every time a Des Moines Kia commercial comes on the TV Jack has to come racing to watch...never fails. It hypnotizes him.
