Sick, but still Sweet.

A couple of nasty, sick with the flu boys.
Mom and dad didn't get it anything like all the boys did, thank goodness. All 3 got hit with it and were over it within 2 days...but made for a lot of nasty clean ups and a day missed of school for Jack.
( On this day Jack was still feeling fine and was at school, it didn't hit him until later this night)

Jack serving Love.

Jack has found the sport he loves and is pretty gifted at.
Last year he asked to play tennis for the summer, but I couldn't locate any tennis programs for 4 year olds at the time. This year I found a Spring Break tennis camp at a local fitness center, Aspen. He went for 2 hours a day for 4 days straight with his coach Patrick and about 3 other kids his age. He finished the week playing in his first tournament.  I am now on the search for a local high school student who might be able to teach some basic lessons to Jack and Ty and continue to support this passion.
Mac watching big brother Jack. 3-18-2015.

Yum Yum.

Greek yogurt has been a total go to for quick nutritious lunches. A bit of fruit, crackers or a bun and a yogurt...fills them up and makes for a nice nap to follow.

Brotherly Love.

All 3 boys playing the iPad together, this does not happen often...at least not without tears.

Ty, the outside guy.

Ty is very much an outdoorsmen.
Hot or cold he is happy to play and explore outside.

Neighborhood Fun.

Mom, Ty and Mac spent the day running, sliding and bouncing like crazy @ The Neighborhood in Ankeny. This is one of Jack's favorite places, but he was in school this day :-(

Ouch, Poor Baby.

Poor Mac has been cutting in his 2 year mollars one at a time. He has had some pretty rough days, but this day he found a little relief with this teether. He looked like this almost all day.

Sleep over @ Adventureland Inn.

Tired out boys.
The weekend after our Fargo trip we had our Annual First Steps Family Fun weekend in Altoona at The Adventureland Inn. The boys got to play with all of their HOI friends and mom and dad got to socialize with other families and attend a group yoga session.
Two waterparks in less then a week made for some tired boys.

North Dakota here we come!

Here is a bit of Jack's humor. The whole crew made the journey to attend and participate in the baptism of Coralie Tolsma. While mom and dad were in front of the church for the event Jack and his second cousin Carson proceeded to take over 50 pictures with the iPad, most of which were of the priest's darrier.

Hotel fun.
To make the 8 hour trip to Fargo more bearable, we spit the drive up in four hour incriments. We spent the first night in Minneapolis and had the experience of useing an outdoor hot tub in Febuary in Minnesota. The next day we stayed with a houseful of Tolsma's in West Fargo. After the ceremoney we headed back to Minneapolis to run wild at the Waterpark of America.
Waterpark fun.
Peaceful ride home.
