Beautiful Snow.
2-4-2015.
What do you do when it snows like this...well take some pictures and then...
Play in it for 2 days!
Gone Huntin.
1-28-2015.
The boys are "hunting" the geese with their toy shot guns and trucks. The boys, along with their trusty hunting dogs, went goose hunting around the ponds in our neighborhood.
I guess boys just naturally like guns and trucks, nothing a mom can do about it.
Sioux Falls Visit.
1-30-2015.
Under sad circumstances, we made a trip to Sioux Falls to be with Family. But with every cloud, their is a silver lining. Since we were in town we got to visit with lots of family and friends.
Here are the boys all looking their best with G'ma Darla.
And here is everyone with Great G'pa Bob.
Recently, my grandfather Bob has had some big changes in health and well being. He recently was in the hospital for about a week and then was transferred to a skilled nursing home. G'ma Darla has been moving his things and making the arrangements for this to be a permanent stay. It makes me so sad to see him this way and I hope he is truly at peace.
Good Till the Last Drop.
1-27-2015.
Mac'ey likes it!
Mac has discovered yummy Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. He gets upset if I try to take his bowl away before he gets to drink every last drop of sugary milk.
Parents Night Out.
1-23-2015.
It was time for another Parent's Night Out, thanks to our local Pump It Up. Jack and Ty get to go bounce their hearts out, eat pizza and make a craft while mom and day get 4 hours all to themselves...and Mac. Mac choose a lovely new Mongolian Buffet for dinner, he had a lot of fun as you can see and mom and dad were stuffed.
Mac Get's His Cast Off!
1-21-2015.
After 3 short weeks, Mac gets his full leg cast sawed off. He did awesome! No tears, just happy to play the i-Pad.
Mac celebrated by taking a long warm oatmeal bath. Pee-yew, now I have an idea what our kids would smell like if we didn't give them a bath for 3 weeks.
Who says play has to stop because it is winter?
1-15-2015,1-16-2015.
So people are always wondering what to do with kids when it is cold outside. Well, get outside gear and actually use it. Yes, they might only last an hour or even less...but they live for it. They can still ride their bikes and go for walks around the neighborhood. The kids feel so much better once they get some fresh outside air and they always nap really good those days too..double bonus.
Kinetic Sand Fun.
1-12-2015.
The boys enjoying an evening at the kitchen table with Kinetic Sand. This stuff is neat and Mom even has fun playing with it.
Good thinking Grandma Ruby, to get one for everyone...because anyone with kids will tell you; kids only want to play with what someone else already has :-)
