Our New Year Started With a Break.

12-31-2015. New Years eve day, Mac decided to be a rambunctious little boy and break his leg. He wasn't really doing anything out of the ordinary, just climbing around on the furniture. He feel over the side of the Lazy Boy, but his foot stuck between the cushions and kept him from falling on his head. Thank goodness Mom had made the boys a big pancake breakfast because Mac broke his leg at 10:00 am and we didn't get home from all the doctors offices until 4:00 pm. All the boys were cranky, tired and hungry by the time we got home and Mom and Dad needed a drink!
A little over a week into the cast, Mac went in to have it re-cast. He was walking around on it so much that chunks and piece of the cast were falling off around the house. Dad came up with the idea to put a tire patch on the bottom of the cast, so Mac could get some traction on the hard floors. His poor toes really took a beating though.
Mac went through a big adjustment after breaking his leg. He became almost infantile and actually took to sitting in the baby swing and wanted to be held constantly. Mom liked it at first, because she already misses those baby days, but it also made things more difficult and stressful. Mac had his full leg cast for 3 weeks. Boys, Boys, Boys.

Silly Boys in a Tub.

i Pad Boys.

12-26-2014. Ty and Mac enjoying a little time on the i pads.

Christmas Morning 2014.

The boys awoke to a house full of new toys. This year they received an abundance of projectiles and everything "Boy". Walkie-Talkies, race track, Dodge Ram pickup, Wii U,Tepee and a bit more.
The weather was so nice Christmas day that the boys got to take their new truck for a spin. Mom had to go in and work Christmas but not until after the boys were ready for lunch and a nap. (So they never really noticed that I wasn't there.) Work or not, it was a perfect day!

Christmas Eve 2014.

The whole family helped make these delicious Christmas cookies. The pink frosting was actually Pink Lemonade flavor and the blue frosting was Cotton Candy flavored, very rich.
Santa must have smelled the cookies, because he dropped by after the boys went to bed with a few items.

Mall Santa 2014.

Every year since Jack was Mac's age, I have taken the boys to see Santa at the Jordan Creek Mall. I had to wait until Jack was in Christmas break this year, so we could still go in the morning during a week day. (I would never go any other time, no line and the boys get to spend all the time they could possibly want with this magical man.) Jack asked for a real drum set and Ty asked for a Santa bounce house...well Santa ran out of room in his sleigh for these large items...maybe next year boys.

Winter Fun.

11-16-2014. I just found these photos off of my camera and had to add them to the blog, even though they are out of chronological order. The boys most of the time would rather freeze then sit around in the house.

Kid Wrapping Paper.

12-17-2015. While dad was out of town for work, the boys had fun wrapping and painting the wrapping paper on Dad's Christmas presents. It was a huge mess, but so much fun for the boys.I had the boys strip down to their skivvies and paint just in their under roos to save me some time in scrubbing clothes clean. Dad got a bread machine, bread machine cook book and a deep fat frier. Now some of you may be questioning the purchases, I was going on a theme of trying to make everything from scratch. My goal is to someday never buy loaves of bread or buns again and to make all our own chicken nuggets, corndogs and crabragoon's from scratch at home...among other things.

Boxing is totally safe for Hemophiliacs.

12-17-2014. Ty getting a few punches in. Bleeding disorder...what bleeding disorder?

The Jack on the buss goes up and down...

12-17-2015. Jack is now ready to take the buss home some days. He is one of the first stops after school so he gets home about 30 minutes after school lets out. It is nice for mom because now she doesn't have to quick wake up two others from nap to go pick him up. We still pick him up every once and while if we are out and about or we are going to go somewhere right after school.
