Jack & Santa.
Mac's Eating Food.
12-16-2013. This was Mac's second day trying to eat Quinoa baby cereal. He does remarkably well, considering this is something so new for him. Did you know that rice baby cereal is about the worst thing you can give a baby learning to eat? It has no nutritional value, it is hard for them to digest and it instills a need for high sugar/carb foods. Theorists have linked it's use to possibly a first step to childhood obesity.

Jack getting the gas!
So as we are getting ready to go to Jack's Christmas program, Jack gets his teeth busted out by Ty's head. Ty had, had an infusion that morning, so all he got was a big lump on the top of his melon. Jack on the other hand, had to go to two different dentists and ultimately have one tooth surgically removed, because it was broken, and the other adjusted. We still might have to have the other front tooth removed because that tooth is in the process of dyeing. The dentist says we are also not in the clear for his permanent teeth. The hit caused the baby tooth roots to possibly make contact with the already developing permanent tooth, possibly damaging it as well. Jack maybe will have a couple of fake teeth to fill in the front for the next 3 years or so, since they say trauma like this normally slows the process of developing permanent teeth and having such a large gap for such a long time can cause a lot of unwanted movement from other teeth.
