Mac Jacob Rezac.
Born Wednesday June 26th 2013. 10:58am. 8 lbs. 4 ounces. 20 inches long. The family is extremely happy and thankful for the new addition.
Ankeny Splash Park.
Today was supposed to be in the upper nineties with no relief in sight. Mom quickly packs up the boys and takes them to the free Ankeny Splash Park. A little after we get there storm clouds move in and it starts to blow and rain. The boys didn't mind the rain because they were already getting wet but temps dropped almost 10 degrees from when we first arrived. Pool staff closed the splash park just as the storm clouds moved out. Awe well, we still had fun while it lasted and I don't think Ty remembered being here a year ago, when he was less than 1 year old.
BIG Fence Project.
Jack assisting dad with a big project! Jack helped remove screws and move boards of our neighbors old fence. Dad tore down our neighbors old fence, in turn we can keep the wood and rebuild a fence in our yard.
Jack's Chuck e Cheese Birthday.
Good job Chuck e Cheese your add campaign on PBS kids has proven effective! Part of the reason why parents like PBS so much is because there is virtually no commercials, just sponsors. But the little tidbits Jack viewed on TV convinced him that he really wanted to celebrate his birthday at the arcade. He loved it and is already saying he can't wait to visit again for his birthday next year.
