On 7-23 at about 5:30 am Ty had his circumcision, then our lives changed forever. By 3:00 pm Ty was being admitted into the NICU. He was bleeding badly and had already lost a lot of blood. Things got bad fast and we came very close to loosing our precious baby boy. Ty did get to check out of the hospital Monday 7-25. The feeling of coming home without your baby is...heart breaking.

Dorothy I think it was a twister!
Wow, last night was crazy! About 3:00am a bad storm rolled in. I woke up because of the wind, it wasn't even raining or thundering yet. Neil said he could feel the walls of the house bowing. Conner was no where to be found, but he is safe and sound now. One tree is leaning really good, my garden is pretty well flatened and Jack's play set was was picked up and turned about 6 feet away from where it normally stands. The news said there was just a severe thunderstorm warning, but looking around at all of our neighbors in there basements in the middle of the night says to me that this storm was more like a tornado.

1st tomato of the summer.
Our garden is doing great this summer. Last week we picked the 1st tomato of the summer. Last night we had a delicious salad with two kinds of our home grown lettuce, Banana yellow peppers, and green onion along with some grilled Zucchini. Nothing taste better then food you just picked the hour before you ate it.
4th of July.
This was Jack's first time watching fireworks. We went to Altoona and fought the traffic to watch the Prairie Meadows display.(Best fireworks display that Neil or I have ever seen!!!) Poor Jack was tired! The fireworks didn't start until 10pm and then by the time we got home it was 11:30pm. He definitely took a long nap on the 5th.

Jack and bugs don't mix.
This is an allergic reaction to mosquito bites from when we were last in Sioux Falls. He has since had a similar reaction to a couple of spider bites. The reaction is normally 1-2 days after the bite and gets very red and swells for about a day or two. Last time he got a bite it was on his forehead and it looked like an egg was coming out of his head. Poor guy, all we can do is give him Benadryl.
