So far we have harvested 2 kinds of lettuce, broccoli, several habinero peppers and I just picked the first ripe tomato today!

Jack thought it was really funny to run around with his shirt on his head. Lately when you change him, he thinks it's a game to grab whatever you took off of him and go running threw the house shreeking. It is nice that he is so easily entertained.

Thank you so much Daren and Traci! This is the perfect birthday gift. Lately Jack has been trying to ride anything, for instance, Jack also received a lawn mower for a gift and he sits on it and attempts to push himself around on it. The water part of the toy is wonderful for these hot summer days. I think this will be a great toy for years to come.

Watch out or Jack will get you.

It was 92 degrees today! So we found something to do and keep our cool at the same time. As you can tell...Jack loves it.

We picked up this tool extravaganza at a garage sale last weekend. Jack loves it. If any of you happen to run along some extra parts to this thing, like the plastic bolts, nuts, screws and nails we would greatly appreciate some more.

Jack now has 6 teeth(4 on top and 2 on the bottom.) He just had his 1 year check up yesterday. His weight is the 24th percentile and his height is the 64th percentile, so the Dr. said he is going to be long and lean.

On the day of Jack's birthday we wanted to do something fun. It was extremely hot outside so we opted to stay in the air conditioning and go to the mall children's play area for the very first time. As you can tell, Jack had a ton of fun!

Jack's 1st Birthday Party.

Last weekend at Ruby and Romaine's we celebrated Jack's 1st birthday. He had a lot of fun and received many wonderful gifts.

Jester Park Natural Playscape.

We got to have fun with everything on this trip through Jester Park. The Bison were out, the Elk were VERY friendly and Jack got to cool off in the water.

Every time we go for a walk in Jester Park there is this one lone duck in a pond. There are several geese in this pond but only one duck. When we walk by, we quack...but he never seems to respond. This is the closest he has let us get to him, about 10 feet away.
